Points are a reflection of your engagement with the CRC community, and help you skip the line for housing for the following year!

You can earn points when you:

• Attend dorm events like All College Meetings, Firesides, Social Events (hosted by the Exec Board) and Recog Events (hosted by non-exec CRCitizens)

• Rep CRC in events with other residential colleges or student groups, like IM Sports and RCB activities

• Participate in our annual Radiothon!

• Help CRC with philanthropic events and activities in the Northwestern and Evanston communities

Preferred status

You gain preferred status on a quarterly basis when you satisfy the requirements at the end of every academic quarter. Preferred students will be given priority over other students in their year when conducting the housing lottery.

Overall Info

Every event that you attend counts as a certain number of points. All College Meetings and general events count as one point, IM Sports count as two points, and philanthropy events count as three points. Final rulings on the eligibility of events for points are made by the Vice President of the Communications Residential College. Feel free to go above and beyond! Participation is not limited.
